8 Mystery Puppies

Organized by Painfultruth.org Animal Death Row Rescue

Update
I plan to take in Troy
Noahs Hope Rescue from Iowa plans to take in Jimmy and Nate.

We are waiting for our vet references to go through. We both know our vets back us up 100% and are comfortable with that. We will know tomorrow yes or no on us being approved rescues. Any funds over $150 needed for Troy's needs I will hand over to Noah's Hope. I will pay the bills for the dogs over the phone so they can leave and arrange transport for them.

Noahs Hope Rescue
Contribute right to their rescue from their page if you would like as well. They are always needing help.

We may be able to place more of the puppies but it really hinges on funding. There are still 5 left. Another rescue may take in the other 5, we dont know for sure yet.
Costs
Got more information on what the rates are running to get done what needs done. We are looking at

  • $100 per dog for boarding for 10 days to clear them for a health certificate = $800
  • $10 each dog for a health certificate for them to legally be transported = $100
  • $20 each dog for vaccines so they can be cleared for a health certificate and also transported legally. = $160
  • The transport costs are not even included in this total.

8 Mystery Pups Forrest City, Arkansas
A rescue in Iowa and a rescue in South Dakota are willing to try and pull the entire litter of 8, or as many as we can get our hands on. It really boils down to money with this many dogs as they are from another state and many things need done to save them. They have to be 1) Pulled 2) Vaccinated 3) Boarded or stay somewhere long enough to be cleared from parvo/distemper etc before they can be transported. 4) Transported

We can not take in sick dogs or risk transmitting Parvo and Distemper across state lines, so all this has to be done.

We want to save all of them but we can not do this with out support from you.

Eight dogs, eight lives, we are asking $1000 to cover these expenses. We will continue to ask for support on these dogs as we care for them, but right now the main focus is safety and start the path to rescue.

As I type this nothing is set in stone. We need to see if we can fund this huge task. If these puppies fall through we will probably get different ones. We will no more in the next day or two and I will post information here. You can request funds back if the rescue efforts on these eight fall through, or you can continue to fund another rescue from this shelter.

They are going to be VERY LARGE DOGS!
